Windham, NH ~ The Windham Women’s Business Connection (WWBC) will host a special evening social event just perfect for the summertime. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM and will benefit the Carol Yennaco Scholarship Fund. All business professionals, male and female, are encouraged to attend and welcome to bring a friend for an evening of wine tasting, networking and fun. Jessica O’Neill will host the event at her State Farm office on Indian Rock Road in Windham.

Bittersweet Wines, a Direct Cellars Wine Club, is the wine sponsor for the event and will be  highlighting wine selections from around the globe, to help combine with food pairing suggestions to enhance the flavor and versatility of the wines. Food is graciously provided by sponsors Brookstone Park, Tuscan Kitchen and Sama Chocolatier.

The Windham Women's Business Connection is a growing and thriving group of women who meet monthly to network and exchange ideas, contribute to their community and learn through guest speakers. Special evening socials, like this one, are offered every quarter for the purpose of putting aside the work side of life to just enjoy each other’s company. As a group, the WWBC supports the Windham area community, local events and charities to help better the town and region. The WWBC also welcomes professional women from outside Windham providing an opportunity to meet our members, connect with our group and help support the growth of the Windham community.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Windham Women’s Business Connection scholarship fund, established to facilitate ongoing education of young women in the Windham community. Monies are managed with the assistance of the Windham Endowment, who also assists with the process for applications and recipient selection. Suggested scholarship donation is $10 for members and $15 for non-members and directly funds the scholarship initiative. Cash and check donations will be accepted at the door of the event.
